The wave of emotion

my eyes are red from the tears i cried
tears from the hurt and pain built up inside
you think that everytime feels different
only to end up feeling used and abused
no its not the feeling thats new
just a new person
bringing on different emotions
different ways of feeling the same emotion
so your happy
in some cases that last forever

unfortunately it cant last a month for you
so wonder why is all you can do
why must i feel used abused like a discontinued product
your taken off the shelf
no one wants to buy you before you are gone
so in the end you are left all alone
filled with emotions
confused,hurt,angry, sad, nostalgic
you wonder how can you be all of these things
and yet stll happy to have known such a person
because you remember when
and wish upon a star
oh if only they worked then ....
but only your dreams
just like only in your dreams will he remain

so we begin this cycle of emotions
you never know how you'll feel next
scared to let in people you have met
this solution of putting up a wall
seems like your best bet
until you meet that special someone who sweeps you off your feet
the here come the wave of emotions back again
